Thank you for considering a donation to the Do Great Things Initiative. Your donation will help the students at Green Bay West High School to plan for their future, become college-ready and fund the cost of college. Please find more information on each donation option below.
Donate Option 1
The Do Great Things Initiative is a nonprofit organization and donations will be applied toward funding the efforts that go beyond what Green Bay West High School can provide for the students to become ready to apply to college. Funds will also be used to form scholarships that will be awarded to students to help fund the cost of college.
We appreciate any donations toward our efforts to ignite passion into the students to aspire toward further education beyond high school and to envision their future. Donations to the Do Great Things Initiative will help provide students and their families with all the tools necessary to be accepted into college.
These efforts include and are not limited to incoming Freshman summer session strengthening study habits, goal-setting and early career development, college and career fairs, financial aid information sessions, guest speakers, assistance with college application and essay writing, and college tours to a variety of schools.
In addition, the Initiative will grant selected students scholarship funds to help them close the financial gap that exists after all merit awards and financial aid has been applied to their cost of tuition. The Do Great Things Initiative is happy to work with any donors that would like to donate towards a specific type of scholarship award.
Donate Option 2
The Do Great Things Experiential Learning Fund helps ensure that financial barriers do not prevent talented students from fully engaging in the transformative opportunities that define a Marquette education. Available to Do Great Things Scholarship recipients and students from the Green Bay area with demonstrated financial need, the fund provides support for experiential learning opportunities, including study abroad programs, paid summer internships, faculty-mentored research, and educational travel. It also assists with essential expenses – including technology, transportation, student organization fees, and emergency needs- helping students remain enrolled, connected, and positioned for success both inside and outside the classroom.
