Thirteen Green Bay West High School students from all grades visited the Brown County Courthouse. Students had the opportunity to meet and learn about the Clerk of Courts Department, District Attorney’s Office and the opportunities for employment within the courthouse. The highlight of the field trip was meeting with Judge John Zakowski and seeing a case in court going through a hearing and sentence. Students were able to meet with him in his chambers where Judge Zakowski shared how he came to be a judge as well as how he works each and every day to provide a fair opportunity in his courtroom.
